"This place is the quintessential Texas BBQ joint. Large portions of barbecue and several sides or dessert. They're baked potatoes are a fan favorite they told us and we agree and the meat was almost as large as the potato itself. The ribs do not fall off the bone but they are well cooked but you will need to add Barbecue on top as it does not appear they are seasoned in brine. They have a brisket taco that was very good as well. The brisket itself falls apart when you try to Fork to eat it. A literal ice cream scoop a butter was placed on the corn. Overall, highly recommended for a good barbecue meal."

"Today I had the BEST ribs, brisket tacos, and sausage I've ever had. I've been here several times when passing through and always love it, but today I feel lucky to have eaten this food! The ribs were seasoned incredibly and were ridiculously tender and delicious. WOW! My coworker and I traded a brisket taco for a rib with each other so we could try more. The brisket was tender and savory and still had incredible flavor even with all the delicious toppings. I always get the bbq beans- so good! This was the first time I got the LBJ salad- I will definitely get it again. I can't recommend this incredible place enough. I love this place!"

"Very quiet home like restaurant. Feels very comforting. Food wise no words really. I've had the 1 meat plate and 3 meat plate. Brisket is one of my favorites in the two times I've came. Baked beans were very good, peach cobbler was astounding, baked potato was really good as well. All in all I really love the food here and it feels like it was made with love. Especially the peach cobbler. Definitely recommend this place!"

"Very nice bbq joint especially for OTR truckers! The brisket on loaded potatoe...chef kisses "

"Driving thru TX en route from NYC to NM. Stopped by after a long 8hr drive from TN. The ribs are bar-none. The rub they use tickles every single sense from first bite to last swallow. That spud with all the fixins was unlike any I ever had before. All the sides are insane, we loved the green beans and cowboy beans the most. Last but not the least, that vinegar BBQ sauce cuts thru every single hint of savory for the perfect balance in every bite."

"Some of the best tasting brisket I've had in quite a while. We had the brisket baked potato, it was loaded and the Frito pie, delicious!! Looking forward to my next visit. Love the homey atmosphere."

"Stumbled into this BBQ joint after parking my truck at the Loves and I'm glad I did. It's a pretty low key place so you can very easily miss it driving by, but the food is amazing. I had the brisket sandwich and a baked potato. To say that everything was on point would be an understatement. Delicious. The baked potato was huge, steaming hot, and tasted really good. It pretty much is how the other reviewers mention. Give this place a try, you won't regret it."
